MAS Cincinnati Core Values: 1. Faith: We believe that Islam is our community's source of strength and pride, and we look forward to share our faith and our culture with everyone around us. 2. Diversity: We cherish the diversity in our community. We believe that this diversity should be a positive element of strength. 3. American Muslim Identity: we believe that Muslims in America should be loyal, model citizens, and good Muslims. 4. Unity: We believe in the mandate from God to stay united. We are better and stronger if we are united. We work to organize and unite our community. 5. Youth: We believe our youth to be our strongest assets, and we must engage them and train them to become leaders in the society. 6. Teamwork: We cherish a culture of a cohesive team that works together in a disciplined and structured way to implement an empowering vision for Muslims in American. 7. Personal Development: We believe that Education, Tarbiya, & Personal development must be a core component in the life of the individual Muslim. 8. Inclusive: We believe that our programs, centers, and institutions must be inclusive to all people: Muslims & non-Muslims; young and old; all ethnicities; all levels of practice; both genders, etc. 9. Partnering with the larger society: We believe in partnering with the broad American Society in order to engage with them in service and the greater good. 10. Commitment: We believe that dedication, and working sincerely for the Sake of God alone, are cornerstones to our ability to succeed. |
