Keeping the Promise, Delivering the Message
"Convey the message after me, even one verse." Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
For the last two consecutive years, the Muslim American Society at the University of Cincinnati (MAS-UC) has educated the UC community about the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Muhammad: The Orphan Who Adopted the World, the title of the campaign, is both an educational and hands-on initiative. Through this campaign Muslims at UC were able to raise awareness about the beloved prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the great message he delivered. Material from the MAS Youth national has been used to aid the local campaign.

During the last two years, audience from different colleges at UC have been attracted to the campaign. It has touched the lives of hundreds of students and faculty members. Also, it has benefited the Muslim community at UC, as it has united all of them under one banner and motivated them to spread the light of Islam throughout the University campus.

Due to the enormous outgrowing of the Muhammad Awareness Campaign (MAC), MAS Youth Cincinnati (MY) has decided to launch the MAC for the year 2008 with a new style and taste. God willing, MY is planning on expanding this campaign to touch the of lives of thousands rather than hundreds. This year's MAC is going to be revolutionized. MY is hoping to spread the message of this campaign to every citizen of the greater Cincinnati community, not only to the community at UC.

Expansion will include the implementation of the campaign by MAS-UC as well as other different MAS Youth groups across Cincinnati. The MAS Youth Groups will take the campaign to public places and to the different community gathering places.

MAC 2008 will take place during the span of the Spring quarter with accordance to UC school calendar (From April till June). The campaign will take place at different locations around cincinnati that will soon be announced.

Through educating others about the Messenger of Allah, we hope that he will become more beloved and respected by all of us.
